Privacy Notice
Commercial Sciences Institute™ is currently operated by Willis Ogalo trading as Commercial Sciences Institute™ ("CSI", "we", "us" or "our"). This notice explains how information is handled when an organisation commissions a Route Economics™ engagement and uses related CSI case services.
Information we collect
When you begin and use a Route Economics™ case, CSI may collect information including your name, email address, route or territory name, starting management decision, reasons for that decision, confidence assessment and other information you provide about the decision.
For the route analysis, you may also provide commercial and operational information such as revenue, volume, customers, orders, route activity, selling prices, direct costs, route costs, capacity, utilisation, evidence sources, estimates, missing information, supporting evidence, management hypotheses and assumptions.
After reviewing the Route Economics™ analysis, CSI may also record your decision review, including whether your decision changed, the reasons for your current decision, confidence, evidence or new insights that influenced it, and the degree to which the analysis influenced your decision.
How we use your information
CSI uses the information you provide to establish and maintain your Route Economics™ case, verify authorised access and any applicable payment status, assess the quality and sufficiency of route evidence, perform the commissioned decision analysis, prepare the agreed management output, support the decision-review process, and communicate with you about your case.
If the information supplied is insufficient for a responsible analysis, CSI may use your contact details to request additional evidence or clarification rather than manufacture a conclusion from inadequate information.
Payment processing
Where online payment forms part of the confirmed engagement, payments for Route Economics™ may be processed through Paystack. Information required to initiate and verify a payment may include your email address, transaction reference, amount, currency and case-related transaction information. CSI also maintains payment-verification records needed to associate a verified payment with the correct Route Economics™ case and fulfil the commissioned service.
Secure case access and browser storage
CSI uses case-access information to help protect access to individual Route Economics™ cases. Your browser may store case-related information on your device to maintain case continuity and secure access between stages of the service.
Because browser storage is associated with the device and browser you use, clearing browser data or changing devices or browsers may affect your ability to resume a case using the same locally stored access information.
Commercial information and confidentiality
Route Economics™ may require commercially sensitive information about a route, territory or field-commercial operation. CSI treats customer-supplied commercial information as information provided for the purpose of delivering the commissioned analysis and related case services.
Payment for or use of Route Economics™ does not give CSI permission to publicly identify you, your organisation or your route as a case study or research participant. Identifiable publication or case-study use requires separate permission where applicable.
Product use and optional research participation
Commissioning or using Route Economics™ does not, by itself, constitute consent to participate in CSI research. Where CSI asks whether information from a case may be used for research or structured product learning that requires participant consent, that choice is presented separately and participation remains optional.
Choosing not to participate in optional research does not prevent an organisation from commissioning or receiving the Route Economics™ service.
Information retention and requests
CSI maintains case and transaction information as needed to operate, secure and administer Route Economics™ services and associated records. CSI is continuing to formalise its information-retention schedule as its commercial systems develop.
